Tina Anthony updates us on Bricklive Safari in the USA
There are over 1,500 accredited zoos in the world and I'm on a mission to introduce them to the amazing collection of Bricklive Touring Shows. This year, I have visited zoos in the USA, Germany and many more internationally to explain the benefits of using our touring shows and following a major marketing campaign, the demand and interest in our shows is strong.
Brookfield Zoo, Chicago was the first overseas zoo in America to display one of our Bricklive Shows. Bricklive Safari opened on a very chilly day in May and despite the continuing cold weather, visitor numbers have exceeded expectations and it is proving to be the second biggest additional attraction that the zoo has had.
The optimist in me hopes Bricklive Safari will surpass previous exhibitions and become the zoo’s biggest attraction before the run concludes on September 29th. More on that in another blog.
Animatronic shows featuring dinosaurs and animals have been around for a while and are quite popular, but will eventually, prove no match for the Bricklive Touring Shows! Although, the massive animatronic Tarantula I saw at Franklin Zoo in Boston was a sight to behold!
I will shortly be heading back to the States to showcase the range of Bricklive Tours to delegates at the American Zoos and Aquarium Annual Conference in New Orleans in September, more to follow in my next post.
